About us
Software that keeps your mind your own.
Gnosis is made by Promintal Consulting Limited, a UK company that works with industry, small and medium businesses, multinational enterprises and individuals.
Why Gnosis
Useful AI should not mean handing over your life.
Most AI assistants ask you to send your notes, files and conversations to a server you cannot see. Gnosis takes the opposite approach. It runs on your own computer and keeps your memory there.
When a task needs a stronger model, the cloud is your decision, made one message at a time, with a preview of what leaves your machine.

Principles
What we build by.
Local first
Chats, memory and search work on your computer. No account and no Gnosis server holding your data.
Your choice, every time
Cloud use is off by default and decided per message. You review what is sent before it goes.
Show the source
Answers point back to the memory they came from, so you can check them instead of trusting them.
Suggest, never surprise
Gnosis proposes what to remember. Nothing is kept until you approve it.
Plain and honest
We say what Gnosis does and does not do. It is a personal assistant, not a replacement for professional advice.
Yours to take with you
Password-protected backups move your memory to any machine.
Who it is for
Individuals and teams who value privacy.
