Gnosis

Product

Everything Gnosis does, and how it stays private.

Chat, memory, sources and privacy controls in one app on your Mac or Windows computer.

Features

Built around your own memory.

Chats that remember

Keep a separate conversation for every topic. Rename, pin, search and clear them. Say “remember that…” and it is saved on the spot.

One memory for everything

Add notes, documents and web links. Gnosis reads and indexes them on your computer, and you can edit or delete any of it.

Answers with sources

Search combines exact words with meaning, so it finds the right passage. Each reply points to the memory it used.

Suggestions, never surprises

When Gnosis notices a fact worth keeping, it puts it in an inbox. You accept it or dismiss it. Nothing is memorised silently.

Advice in your style

Tell it who you are, what matters and how you like to be advised: as a coach, a risk register, or plain and brief.

Move to a new laptop

One password-protected backup file carries your memory, chats and settings to another machine.

Try it

Ask a small example memory.

This is a simplified demonstration that runs in your browser. It matches words in the three example notes. The real Gnosis uses a language model and searches by meaning as well.

    Privacy

    Local first, cloud by choice.

Chats, memory and search run on your computer. The cloud is off until you turn it on, and you choose it one message at a time.

When you do, names you list, emails, phone numbers, postcodes and card numbers are replaced with placeholders. You see a preview of exactly what is sent, and Gnosis puts your details back into the reply.

Any cloud key is kept in your system keychain. Backups can be protected with a password.
